Georgi Kirilov FCCA CF
Georgi is a fellow of the Association of Chartered and Certified Accountants (ACCA). He is a Corporate Finance (CF) qualified member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of England and Wales (ICAEW) and holds a Masters in Accounting and Finance from the London School of Economics (LSE). He is also part of the American Society of Appraisers (ASA), the US business valuation institution. Georgi has significant professional experience in accounting, consulting and corporate finance areas, and he has worked for many years in London and Geneva, prior to returning to Bulgaria at the end of 2005, where he spent three years in the Financial Advisory Services of Deloitte Bulgaria leading due diligence, valuation, and buy and sell side advisory engagements for major international and Bulgarian clients such as EON, KBC Bank, Magyar Telecom, BTC, BBB Group, Business Park Sofia, OCK, Gorubso Madan etc. Georgi delivers the following courses: Financial Management and Analysis, Corporate Finance, Finance for Non-Finance Professionals, Performance Management, Budgeting and Excel. He has extensive international teaching experience in the UK, the Netherlands, Czech Republic, Slovenia, Slovakia, Poland, Romania and Greece. Georgi specialises in corporate finance, performance management and financial management. He is teaching ACCA (F2, F3, F5, F9, P3, P4 and P5), CIMA (F3, ICS Management Level), CISI/ ICAEW Corporate Finance Qualification.
PETR SKOKAN FCCA MCMI
Petr has a degree in Finance & Business Valuation from Prague University of Economics. Before joining BPP in 2007, Petr started his career in audit services, later he worked for T-Mobile CZ in the area of financial management, controlling and reporting. Petr was promoted to take up a role of Managing Director for BPP Czech Republic in 2011. He teaches courses on accounting, financial reporting and auditing with many years of international experience with students in Czech Republic, Netherlands, Poland, Romania, Slovakia, Greece and Slovenia. In 2015 he joined the global network of BPP Premier Members, becoming the Managing Partner of Ineo in the Czech Republic.
Boryana Petrova MVP, MCT, MCITP, MCTS, MOS-Master
Boryana is a Certified Microsoft Trainer with over 10 years of experience as an IT instructor and consultant. She has a Master Degree in Mathematics and Informatics from the “St. St. Cyril and Methodius” University in Veliko Tarnovo. Boryana holds a number of professional qualifications and certificates, some of which include Microsoft Certified Trainer, Microsoft Certified IT Professional, Microsoft Certified Technical Specialist, Microsoft Office Specialist – Master and Most Valuable Professional – Excel 2012. In 2008 she has been included in the TOP 25 of the best Microsoft Office instructors according to the international business evaluation and measurement company Knowledge Advisors. She is also a creator and administrator of a the Microsoft Office Bulgaria users group under the supervision of Microsoft Bulgaria.
Tanya Kotocheva PhD CPA
Tanya has an extensive experience as an academic tutor, assessor, auditor of financial and non-financial enterprises and international groups in Bulgaria. She is a qualified Certified Public Accountant (CPA), registered auditor and member of the Bulgarian Institute of Certified Public Accountants, certified internal auditor in public sector and member of Bulgarian Institute of Internal Auditors. Tanya has graduated the University of National and World Economy with a major Accountancy and Control and she also holds a PhD degree in Economics. Vesela is a senior associate with Dinova Rusev & Partners law office. Her experience is focused on provision of clients with advice in the area of employment social security law and personal data protection. Vesela also advises in the area of competition as well as all aspects of employment law and compliance with the regulatory framework in place. Claire Zenkerová, ACA
Claire finished her ACA (ICAEW) qualification while she was working for Price Waterhouse in London. After that she moved to the office in Prague as an audit manager with additional responsibility for coordinating and providing training for professional staff . Claire has been training management and financial accounting in the Czech Republic since 1996. In 2000 she joined the BPP team as a teacher, focusing on ACCA courses in finance and management accounting. She is actively involved in training programs for management level, covering topics as communication, presentation skills, effective meetings, time management, feedback and interviews. Ivelina Cherneva is a senior associate with Dinova Rusev & Partners law office. She started her career in the company in 2007. Throughout the years Ivelina has gathered extensive experience in different internal corporate restructurings, she has managed procedures of mergers and acquisitions of independent entities as well as analysis of potential anti – competition effect. Iliya holds a Magister Juris degree from Oxford University where he specialized in corporate finance, International Financial and European law. Richard Berkeley is an actor and a musician. He has worked as a producer, presenter and writer for BBC Television, RAI TV and radio and TVP (Pegaz) and as an advertising copy-writer for many commercials. He can often be seen on BBC World TV. Jakub Guttner, Ph.D. ACCA CISA
After completing his Ph.D. in Information Technology in 2004, Jakub left theory for practice and started working in computer security and IT audit for Ernst & Young. In his senior role, he was also the team Excel expert. He has qualified as an ACCA Chartered Accountant in the area of finance (2008), and CISA Information Systems Auditor in the area of IT and audit (2007). Nowadays, he specializes in teaching financial modeling, financial management, measuring and managing performance, databases, IFRS and accountancy. Atanas Mihaylov, AAL Wolf Theiss
Atanas is a Senior Associate at Wolf Theiss Bulgaria. His skills and experience are concentrated in three main directions: transaction tax planning, acquisition and disposals of energy projects and real estate projects development. In the field of transaction tax planning he advises multinational and domestic clients in every step in the transaction process: pre-deal negotiations, due diligence, structuring of the transaction (corporate income tax, VAT, real estate tax), structuring of the acquisition vehicle, contracts negotiations. Lyudmil holds a Master's Degree in Law and European Union Law from Sofia University St. Kliment Ohridski. He has an extensive experience in the application of legislation in the areas of construction and investment process as well as in the bank sector. Manuel Bellsolell is the dedicated country manager for Spain and Bulgaria for Business Today International Simulations.
